Independence Mall is located in Kingston, Massachusetts, just three miles from historic Plymouth “Rock.” There is easy access to Independence Mall from Route 3 to exit 8. Shopping hours at Independence Mall are Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with extended hours and special events during the holidays.
Independence Mall has over 100 stores, including three department stores, Filene’s, Target, and Sears; as well as Best Buy, Old Navy, and the only H&M store south of Boston. There are 20 clothing stores, seven shoe stores, eight card and gift stores, nine bath and beauty shops, eight jewelers, and several electronics, music, and video stores. In addition, Independence Mall has a number of specialty stores, such as Borders Books, Music and Café, Hollister Company, Steve & Barry’s University Sportswear, and Lids for the latest in team and fashion hats. Debby’s Petland and Yankee Candle are great places to browse and shop, as well.
Independence Mall has entertainment for everyone in the family, with a 14-screen movie theater and a variety of food to choose from for lunch, supper, or a quick shopping break. The Food Court has 12 restaurants, including Surf & Turf, Cathay Cathay, Pizzeria Regina, and Uno Chicago Grill. The children can participate in kids’ night every Wednesday in the Food Court, with special meal deals, magicians, and clowns.
